Designed and executed an end-to-end statewide Swadeshi Mela Initiative across Gujarat

Main Roles

  • Planned and executed the Swadeshi Mela across 38 Nagar Palikas in Gujarat, ensuring consistency in experience and communication across locations
  • Conceptualized the event framework aligned with the ‘Vocal for Local’ vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, focusing on supporting local artisans, manufacturers, and small businesses
  • Designed and managed complete on-ground branding including hoardings, banners, entry gates, and stage setups
  • Created and executed stage environments for felicitation ceremonies featuring MLAs, Ministers, and elected representatives
  • Developed engagement zones including a dedicated Selfie Point and a Kids Zone to enhance visitor interaction and footfall

Event Concept & Planning

  • Built the Swadeshi Mela as a platform to promote local industries, giving artisans, manufacturers, and small sellers direct access to consumers
  • Aligned the event narrative with the larger ‘Vocal for Local’ movement, ensuring relevance and resonance with regional audiences
  • Structured the mela to function as both a marketplace and a community engagement platform

On-ground Branding & Setup

  • Designed a cohesive visual identity across all locations through hoardings, banners, gate branding, and stage branding
  • Ensured high visibility and easy navigation within each mela through clear and consistent branding elements
  • Created stage setups that supported formal ceremonies while maintaining visual appeal and functionality

Stage & Felicitation Management

  • Organized felicitation ceremonies with the presence of MLAs, Ministers, and local elected representatives
  • Managed stage flow, branding, and coordination to ensure smooth execution of official segments
  • Positioned the stage as a key touchpoint for community engagement and credibility

Experience & Engagement Zones

  • Set up interactive experiences including a Glambot photo booth and live mascot to enhance participation
  • Designed dedicated kids’ activity zones with games and play areas, making the event inclusive for families
  • Introduced creative engagement formats like ‘Color Me’ installations to increase involvement across age groups
